Founded in 2023, SETC Pros, Inc. embodies Ryan’s belief that everyone deserves a fair chance to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

Before founding SETC Pros, Inc., Ryan honed his legal expertise at Umina Legal, PLLC, where he specialized in wrongful death, serious personal injury, and criminal defense. His exceptional skill in handling complex and high-profile cases has earned him recognition from Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for five consecutive years, as well as accolades from the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Ryan’s legal career began at Cranston & Edwards, PLLC, where he focused on wrongful death, personal injury, and criminal defense. His tenure as a law clerk there involved in-depth research and drafting key legal documents, laying a solid foundation for his future successes. As a student attorney at West Virginia University, he represented clients in business litigation, family law, federal clemency, and immigration, and advocated for domestic violence victims at Protective Order hearings.

His early experience as a summer associate law clerk at Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough further diversified his expertise, where he delved into medical malpractice defense, real estate litigation, and banking defense.

Ryan’s educational background includes a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois. He is also proficient in Spanish, adding a valuable dimension to his ability to serve diverse clients.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ryan is actively involved in the community, volunteering for legal aid organizations, providing pro bono services, and mentoring aspiring attorneys and law students.
